Girls NFL Flag Football
Join the City of Moraine Parks and Recreation Girls NFL Flag Football League! This fun, non-contact league is designed to teach football fundamentals, teamwork, and sportsmanship in a safe, supportive, and encouraging environment. Girls of all skill levels are welcome, whether they are new to the game or have previous experience. Each participant will receive an official NFL Flag jersey, flag belt, and flags to wear during the season and keep after it concludes. We have partnered with the City of Dayton Department of Recreation to provide a larger, more competitive league experience.
Practices will be held at the Moraine Civic Center, and games will be played at Centennial Field in Dayton (504 E Helena St, Dayton, OH). Come build your skills, make new friends, and enjoy the excitement of NFL Flag Football!
Practice & Game Information:
13U - Practices twice a week on Monday and Wednesday starting September 21st. Games are played on either Wednesday, Friday, or Saturday starting the week of October 5th.
17U - Practices twice a week on Tuesday and Thursday starting September 22nd. Games are played on either Thursday, Friday, or Saturday starting the week of October 5th.
Coaches:
Teams will be coached by volunteers. All coaches must complete a background check and online training courses.
There will be a coaches and parents meeting on Thursday, September 17 at 6 PM at the Moraine Civic Center.
Equipment:
Participants are responsible for:
1. Non-metal cleats or sneakers
2. Mouth Guard
3. Shorts without pockets
