This program is for coed (boys & girls) ages 3-12. This league will focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer and the importance of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. We have partnered with the City of Dayton's Parks & Rec Department to create a bigger and more diverse league. Practices will be held at the Gerhardt Civic Center (3050 Kreitzer Rd, Moraine, OH 45439). Games will be played at Centennial Field starting the week of April 12 (504 E Helena St, Dayton, OH 45404). Registration ends March 16th.
The league features four age divisions: 4U, 6U, 9U, and 12U. Practice starts the week of March 24, and games begin Saturday, April 12.
The 4U division season ends May 3. Practice once a week on Wednesday and play games on Saturdays
The 6U division season ends May 17. Practice once a week on Tuesday and play games on Saturdays.
The 9U division season ends May 22. Practice twice a week on Monday & Wednesday and play games on Saturdays.
The 12U division season ends May 22. Practice twice a week on Tuesday & Thursday and play games on Saturdays.
Both the 9U and 12U divisions will conclude their regular season on May 17 and participate in a single-elimination tournament from May 19–24.
A coaches/parents meeting will be held on Thursday, March 20 at 6 PM, at the Gerhardt Civic Center.
Teams will be coached by volunteers. All coaches must complete a background check and online training courses.
Equipment:
Participants are responsible for:
1. Non metal cleats or sneakers
2. Shine guards
The City will provide each child with an MLS Go Jersey, shorts, & socks.
