Library on the Go!
Did you know that the Kettering-Moraine Branch Library offers a variety of exciting materials and experiences for tweens and teens…FOR FREE?  This fall, the library is taking its programs on the go and visiting Gerhardt Civic Center.  Enjoy the activity and then visit the bookmobile and check out some books! Register to join the fun at Gerhardt Civic Center!

September 23rd, 4 pm-5 pm:  Graphic Novel Book Club:  Do you love graphic novels?  Do you love drawing and storytelling?  We will discuss this very popular genre of books, share a few of our favorites, and then practice the art of creating a graphic novel.  Snacks will be provided.  At the end of the hour, the Dayton Metro Library Bookmobile will come so you can borrow a book to bring home! 
 
October 12th, 4-5 pm:  Escape Room:  Do you have a talent for solving puzzles?  Work in groups to complete a series of challenges within a time limit.  Snacks will be provided.  At the end of the hour, the Dayton Metro Library Bookmobile will come so you can borrow a book to bring home! 
 
November 11th, 4-5: Fruit parfaits:  Ready to learn how to make a delicious and healthy snack?  Design, construct (and eat!) yogurt-layered creations while learning how to prepare whole fruits into perfect pieces.  A waiver will be required to use the knives.  Dairy- and gluten-free options will be available--please note on registration.  At the end of the hour, the Dayton Metro Library Bookmobile will come so you can borrow a book to bring home!
