MLS Go
This program is for coed (boys & girls) ages 3-12. Each child receives an official Major League Soccer jersey, shorts, and socks to play in and keep after the season concludes. This program will focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of soccer and the importance of teamwork, respect, and sportsmanship. We have partnered with the City of Dayton's Parks & Rec Department to create a bigger and more diverse league. Practice starts the week of March 18. Practices will be held at the Gerhardt Civic Center (3050 Kreitzer Rd, Moraine, OH 45439). Games will be played at Centennial Field starting the week of April 1 (504 E Helena St, Dayton, OH 45404). 

Ages 3-4: Practice once a week on Wednesday and play games on Saturdays.
Ages 5-6: Practice once a week on Tuesday and play games on Saturdays.
Ages 7-9: Practice twice a week on Monday & Wednesday and play games on Saturdays.
Ages 10-12: Practice twice a week on Tuesday & Thursday and play games on Saturdays. 

Teams will be coached by volunteers. All coaches must complete a background check and online training courses. 

There will be a coaches/parents meeting Thursday, March 14 at 6 pm here at the Payne Rec Center. I will be going over the league and answering questions. 

Equipment:
Participants are responsible for:
1. Non metal cleats or sneakers
2. Shine guards 

The City will provide each child with an MLS Go Jersey, shorts, & socks.
