Learn cost-effective ways to save and reuse water in this program, perfect for families and beginners! Participants will learn how rain barrels work and receive their own rain barrel (one per household) to take home and start collecting rainwater. Registration is required; please register only 1 person per household.

Get your hands messy and your imagination going in this fun, family-friendly clay workshopwith Kristin of Purple Paintbrush! Participants will receive approximately 1 pound of clay tocreate 3–4 small “gnomey” clay friends, focusing on playful details like round noses, big hats,beards, braids, and textures. These figures will be faceless (or not! It's up to you!), allowing each piece to have a little touch of whimsy! Participants will also glaze their finished pieces, choosing from a variety of colorful options. All pieces will be kiln-fired and returned to the Parks Office approximately three weeks after the program.Each registration includes 1 pound of clay. If you would like to create more figures than listed, please register for additional spots accordingly. Come dressed to get potentially messy!
