Clay Fairy Houses - Clay Fairy Houses
Spend a morning of whimsy creating fairy houses in clay! no previous clay experience is required! Each family will receive a 2lb pre-rolled slab of clay, which can create 1 large fairy house, or a couple smaller ones (and they can get pretty small!) We will learn basic clay techniques like scoring and slipping to build our fairy house foundations, and then it's time to decorate! create fences, windows, doors, etc! then glaze it up with an assortment of fun colors! Fairy houses will be fired in a kiln and returned to the Gerhardt Civic Center approximately 2-3 weeks after the program (projects will need time to dry prior to firing!). Participants will be notified when they are ready for pick up! Registration is required to participate. Only one member per family needs to register. This is not a drop-off program.
