The program will focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of flag football while creating a fun competitive atmosphere. We have partnered with the City of Dayton's Parks & Rec Department to create a bigger and more diverse league. Practice starts the week of September 8. Practices will be held at the Gerhardt Civic Center (3050 Kreitzer Rd, Moraine, OH 45439). Games will be played at Centennial Field starting September 20 for all age divisions. (504 E Helena St, Dayton, OH 45404).Last day to register is August 24Practice:4U & 6U Practice once a week, Monday - Thursday and play games on Saturdays. 9U & 12U: Practice twice a week, Monday - Thursday and play games on Saturdays. 9U & 12U will play an end of the season tournament. Coaches:Teams will be coached by volunteers. Spend a morning of whimsy creating fairy houses in clay! no previous clay experience is required! Each family will receive a 2lb pre-rolled slab of clay, which can create 1 large fairy house, or a couple smaller ones (and they can get pretty small!) We will learn basic clay techniques like scoring and slipping to build our fairy house foundations, and then it's time to decorate! create fences, windows, doors, etc! then glaze it up with an assortment of fun colors!  Fairy houses will be fired in a kiln and returned to the Gerhardt Civic Center approximately 2-3 weeks after the program (projects will need time to dry prior to firing!). Participants will be notified when they are ready for pick up! Registration is required to participate. Only one member per family needs to register. This is not a drop-off program.

The program will focus on teaching kids the fundamentals of flag football while creating a fun competitive atmosphere. We have partnered with the City of Dayton's Parks & Rec Department to create a bigger and more diverse league. Practice starts the week of September 8. Practices will be held at the Gerhardt Civic Center (3050 Kreitzer Rd, Moraine, OH 45439). Games will be played at Centennial Field starting September 20 for all age divisions. (504 E Helena St, Dayton, OH 45404).Last day to register is August 24Practice:4U & 6U Practice once a week, Monday - Thursday and play games on Saturdays. 9U & 12U: Practice twice a week, Monday - Thursday and play games on Saturdays. 9U & 12U will play an end of the season tournament. Coaches:Teams will be coached by volunteers. All coaches must complete a background check and online training courses. There will be a coaches/parents meeting Thursday, September 4 at 6 PM at the Gerhardt Civic Center. We will be going over the league and answering questions. Equipment:Participants are responsible for:1. Non metal cleats or sneakers 2. Mouth Guard
